Big miracles do not just happen. The devil will always fight them from happening in your life. That is why he will desperately drag you along for days, weeks, months, or even years in a problem, however, there is something called a decision that you can control and use to thwart his efforts.
Did you know that you control your outcomes in heaven? What you decide in heaven coincides with it. That means angels and demons line up with it. When you decide good, angels of the good line up well, and demons keep a distance accordingly. They won’t even come close to you if you decide to do good. Whereas if you decide to do bad. The demons of bad are the first to come and dwell in and around you. Angels tend to be distanced or weakened from working in your life.
Why are decisions powerful? Let’s look at forgiveness for example. What lies behind unforgiveness is a demon of anger. And what lies behind forgiveness is an angel of joy or happiness.
The word of the Lord says “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26
Yet forgiveness is one decision away. This is where the power of your decision comes in. When you don’t decide to forgive no matter how big or small that thing is that happened to you. The devil has you exactly where he wanted you to be.
Be wise to see what the devil is planning against you and do the exact opposite. You have the power to decide. It’s called will-power and it is from God. The opposite of evil is good. Don’t decide to do or make decisions in the devil’s favour. Why not you may ask, because things will only get worse and worse!
When you make emotional decisions because something negative has happened, that’s because the devil wanted you to get to that point. But after this now you know, that it was only a trick for control. The devil was after control of my life and being.
So stand your ground. “We walk by faith, not by sight,” the word of God says in 2 Corinthians 5:7. So that means feelings don’t apply, and bad happenings don’t apply either and should not be a determinant of where you are going.
Anytime you feel bad or negative and you want to make a decision, decide to do the opposite. After you have done so you’ll see why the devil didn’t even want you to get there because God always has that big miracle awaiting you. And problems signify devils’ ample efforts to stop them from taking place.
2 Corinthians 2:11, Apostle Paul said “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”.
Emotional decisions that you make when something has gone wrong show that you are not aware and falling prey to the devil’s devices. He is a destroyer but you are more than a conqueror. You are a winner. At least that’s what God says and thinks of you. Don’t be ignorant of it. God gave you power over that situation. Decide well. Emotions aside. You have THE POWER OF A DECISION.
You are one good decision away from a big miracle so make it count. You have the power and authority from God to make it count. You have the power to just say to yourself “You know what? I’m letting go. I have decided to forgive you, I am deciding not to do this sin anymore. I am deciding to do good in this and that.”
You’ll be amazed how far you will go with that attitude. What so and so did to you is not something to dwell over. That problem is not something to dwell over. It’s a test to stop you from experiencing the good that lies beyond it. You just have to make that final decision.
I pray and hope this will help you live a worry-free life in marriage, business, at work, or in the church. Because the devil doesn’t want you free. But my God, my Lord, who is Jesus Christ. He is the Holy Spirit and wants you to enjoy everything in your life.
