Don’t let satan control your mind. The devil manipulates information shared around to people in this age, to control people’s minds and use the wrong information to derail their lives.
This is why the bible says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy….” John 10:10a.
One of the greatest warfares people will fight in this world and their life is warfare with information. Information that comes into you and goes out of you. Everything that happens is a result of the manipulation of information, and hence the manipulation of people’s minds and I’ve learned that the highest form of deliverance you can ever get is that of getting rid of wrong forms of information that control my mind.
Even when satan wants to derail your life, God has correct information that he brings your way to help you control your mind and the information you receive every day, through Jesus Christ, He came that you might have life and have it more abundantly, John 10:10b.Â

Despite the destruction satan plans against you, God has life for you and there is a way he does this through information as well. It is called truth, the bible says “And you will know the truth, and that truth will set you free.” John 8:32, This truth comes from the bible
If you take time to think about it you will realise that your life, the decisions you have made, the beliefs you have about certain things, and what you are experiencing today are a result of information that was given to you. This information stayed with you and began shaping your thoughts, beliefs, behaviour, actions, and subsequent outcomes in your life.
The world is in a battle over information that influences people’s lives and outcomes. Whilst some have good information that will build your life for success. Others are out to manipulate, control, and destroy you. Not all information that you expose yourself to or come across is good for you. In fact, a majority of the information from this world is not good for your mind.
How they control your mind through information
The information you have today has come to you through a book, newspaper, magazine, TV series, movie, music, the news, social media, YouTube, a text message, a person, a family member, a government, and so forth. It is through some of the bad information you get from these mediums that satan manipulates your mind.
The only reason this is the greatest battle you will face in life is that the word of God says so. And when you consider this, you will see that indeed it is something you should be wary of at all times.
The word of God shows us how to avoid the pitfalls that come through information, saying, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 KJV
Whatever you do don’t let satan control your mind because it is through your mind that God can guide your life, no wonder He tells us to transform our mind through His word, Romans 12:2. Do not just say, it is just entertainment or it is just the news, or just the newspaper, a book or whatever. No! it is not just information, they are teaching you something and controlling the way you think, for better or worse.
Apostle Paul wrote something in the book of Romans 12:2, that we should always remember, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Everything in this world has its positives and negatives and so does information. Don’t just believe everything you hear, see or are told. As someone once said, “All you see is not all there is”. Wherever you are in life, if you are not happy about something, ask questions and make sure you get the right answers that come from the truth of the word of God.
Control your mind to avoid the bad side of life
Satan has so manipulated many lives to the extent that much of the destruction we see in the world is a result of the information he fed the minds of the people doing it for him. Whether it is theft, terrorist acts, abusiveness, corruption, poverty, diseases, and so much more. It is all a battle for information and the control of people’s minds.
Information is so important, to an extent that God himself says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you as My priests.” Hosea 4:6
Control your mind and enjoy the good side of life
Other forms of information have however resulted in some of the best advancements for the world today. Think of inventions like the car, the aeroplane, trains, the internet, smart devices, manufacturing processes, advanced building methods, advances in fashion, food processes, and many others.
All of these have come as a result of people taking the good information they have and using it to build the wonders we see today. And all of this can be attributed to God’s wisdom working in people’s minds.
And it is the reason why satan tries to manipulate the minds through the wrong forms of information. But the word of God tells us that we can stop him from controlling or influencing our minds. How? By casting down those negative imaginations that you get and everything that works contrary to the word of God.
This is the advantage that humanity has today. The knowledge of God is freely available to all for the benefit of humanity. And all we need to do, each time the wrong information comes our way and starts to influence our thought patterns is to cast down the information, imaginations of satan that fight to influence our minds. When you use the word of God satan cannot influence or control your mind at anything.
Every thought must be filtered through the word of God, to enjoy your life and live victoriously, and produce great results.
The next time satan tries to manipulate your mind with thoughts of fear, defeat, failure, regret, sickness, cancer coming back, suicide, evil imaginations, using entertainment, and other mediums of information, declare against those imaginations. Don’t let satan control your mind.
“Humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” James 4:7 KJV
