You have the power to imagine anything that you want into existence. In our imagination lies the power to create. To lock and unlock possibilities and bring things to life. God gave us a mind that can go into the past, imagine in the present and see into the future. Why wouldn’t you use it as God made it available to you?
Anything that a person encountered good or bad first began in the imagination. A faculty of your mind and thinking process. Was it fear, was it happiness, could it have been a promotion, could it have been a demotion? Maybe you imagined starting a family, or simply just having a good life. Those things are very possible because if you can think about it then you can have them.
What are you imagining daily?
The word of God tells us that, “as a man thinks in his heart so is he”, Proverbs 23:7. That means your thinking controls exactly what you are becoming or what you will become. You are the product of your thoughts and the information you have in your mind.
Ever feared falling one day and then a few months or more later you fell? Ever imagined an accident and a few days or weeks later you had one? Ever imagined a promotion and it happened that same month, quarter or year you saw it? Ever imagined being rich and wealthy and suddenly you began to see opportunities to do so? It is because God does more than what we ask or think, Ephesians 3:20.
The fact that what you saw in your mind came to pass is the revelation that your mind is so powerful. You can use it to create anything to get what you want. And also to stop anything that thing you don’t want, by refocusing it on what you want to see.
Satan attacks your imagination first
Before one becomes a success or failure the devil first attacks the mind from their imagination where the creative ability lies and hence that person is bound.
The good news is that you can take back any lost control over your mind simply through the word of God. God through Romans 12:2 tells us not to be conformed to this world (not to allow circumstances) but to allow our minds and hence our hearts (in our spirit) to be transformed by the word of God.
Use the power of your imagination to your advantage
In the bible, we see a woman who had been sick with a haemorrhage disease for 12 years. She bled continuously. But one day she decided to be healed and she imagined touching Jesus’ garment just so she could be healed.
The bible says; ” then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, for she thought, if I can just touch his robe, I will be healed turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.” Mark 9:21 NLT
She used the power of her imagination. If she had not seen it in her imagination maybe it would not have happened, believing begins from our heart and then enforces our thoughts into action that results in faith, James 2:17.
So your mind is that powerful. What is it that you want? If you can imagine it you can have it so start imagining the best for your life, and enjoy good outcomes that far outweigh the bad outcomes or fears the devil throws at you. No fear ever comes from God, it comes from the devil, and when you use the imagination God gave you to think of Good things, you will have them, Philippians 4:8.
God bless
